I was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. I graduated from Caldwell High School, and then went to college at University of Portland. I received my BSN nursing in 1985. I worked as a nurse in a medical/surg, telemetry, dialysis, ICU, and post partum.
In 1993 I received a MS degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. I worked with Dr. Stamey English for 2 years. Then he retired. I then worked with Dr. Pfliger and at LCSC student health services. I have also done college health at the Univ. of Idaho.
I am not all work. While working at Dr. English’s office a nurse set me up on a blind date. I have been married to my husband Dave, 13 years. He is a 3rd grade teacher. I have a daughter Sarah she is 12 years old. I also have a dog named Ginger, two cats named Jazzy and Momma cat.
I opened a local low cost clinic by myself in 2006. There was a great need however I was not able to keep the office open for more than one year.
Recently I have worked in a Family Planning Clinic in Pullman Washington. I worked there for 2 yrs part time and 3 yrs full time. I love women’s health and hope to continue seeing women.
I have now just started working at Nimiipuu clinic. The all the people in this clinic have been so warm and helpful. Thank you for giving me a chance to work at such a beautiful clinic.
