Sherri Lozon, MPH
NMPH Executive Director

Hello NMPH Patients!  I want to wish each of you a HAPPY, HEALTHY and SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR!  My name is Sherri Lozon and I am your new Executive Director at our Nimiipuu Health Clinic.  I am excited to be here!  I want to take a moment to thank the NMPH employees and patients for giving me a warm welcome.  Some of the priorities I am working on are the NMPH budget, accreditation preparation, employee relations and morale and review of the patient care numbers and flow.  I also look forward to working with the Nimiipuu Health Board and Nez Perce Tribe Executive Committee and to serve them and you, respectfully to the best of my ability.  One suggestion I want to make to you, is that if you are going to Express Care, you might be able to be seen that morning instead, by calling the appointment desk first thing

We will have public meetings in the late spring, around March or April.  These will be evening meetings, since our winter public meetings in December were held during the day.  Watch for our notices of our NMPH Board meetings, come on in and get to know our new board members and give input into our clinical services.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this capacity.

If you need to contact anyone in our office we  graciously ask for your patience and understanding.  Again, we apologize for the

in the morning and ask her to put your name and contact number on the appointment list just in case another patient cancels, they can put YOU in that appointment slot and you won’t have to wait for Express Care.  It might not work out all the time, but once in awhile, you might be able to be seen that morning, and not have to wait for Express Care. I have a request of you, if you have any concerns about your care or medication, please contact that office to resolve it, or please fill out a patient comment form so that I can follow up on the matter.  I find that patients, (me too), make the wrong conclusion about a change in our medication, …talk to one of our providers, tell them if the medication is working or not, I did.   Let’s work together to open up the communication about our health care.
